This one day workshop will give participants a greater range of styles and techniques for painting watercolours with fun experimental techniques. Unexpected but lovely results will be created. Colour balance, composition, cropping and negative painting with gouache will help resolve the abstract effects.

Some of the techniques are based on the work on UK artist, Ann Blockley, while others are inspired by Lena Gemzoe, Tony Smibert and other artists.

This workshop is designed for those with some previous experience in watercolour painting, but beginners will also be catered for.
