This masterclass is presented by Mary Valley Artslink Professional Development and Workshop Program which has been made possible through financial assistance provided by the Queensland Government’s Regional Community Arts Program.

Explore your creativity in this enjoyable watercolour workshop as you design and paint a beautifully decorated alphabet letter. Create a personalised artwork for yourself or as a meaningful gift, using your own colour palette and imaginative themes.
Jan will guide you through composition, design development, and painting techniques, while providing a variety of reference materials and inspiration to help you get started. The letter itself can be enhanced with metallic watercolour, gouache, ink, or pen work for added detail and visual interest.
Decorate your letter with subjects that inspire you, such as flowers, foliage, insects, animals, birds, sweets, whimsical characters, or other creative motifs. No two artworks will be the same, making each piece a unique reflection of its creator.
