Use colour pencils to create artworks of transparent objects such as glass vases, tumblers and bottles, then learn how to render the distortions that happen when items overlap and change colour etc. Shiny, metallic and ceramic objects are also the focus. Learn how to depict the interesting shapes and patterns that are reflected onto these surfaces and learn the science behind it. It’s not just a matter of painting what you see, but knowing what you see and why! The knowledge gained will translate into skills useful for all media.
