A workshop designed specifically to help you hone your drawing skills with graphite (lead) pencils. The focus will be on learning to correctly ‘see’ shape and form. Starting with a series of exercises, students will gain a greater ability to complete a drawing project or two in the afternoon.

When: Saturday, February 13 9am to 4pm
What to bring: graphite pencils in different grades: B, 2B, 4B, 6B * Quality drawing cartridge paper or Smooth (hot press) watercolour paper *One sheet of graphite transfer paper. *Large, soft brush for brushing away pencil ‘crumbs’. *Pencil sharpener and kneadable eraser. *A pen and paper for writing notes.
References supplied. You may also bring a favourite black and white photographic reference if it is large and clear to see details.
Morning and afternoon tea is complimentary, BYO lunch. (Refrigerator & microwave available.) Restaurants across the road.
